Midfielder Marc Bircham has confirmed he has come off the transfer list at QPR and heaped praise on new boss John Gregory for the impact he has had since taking over at Loftus Road.
The 27-year-old Canada international, who joined the club from Millwall in July 2002, has been linked with a move away for some time given that he is now in the final year of his Hoops contract.
However, following Gregory's arrival as manager and two successive victories, Bircham is now delighted to come off the list and concentrate on performing well for the club.
He told the club's official website: "I'm obviously very pleased. The last few months have been a bit up and down for me, but this is a huge pick-me-up.
"I've always stated I don't want to leave the club. I'm happy with my form but there's still a lot more to come from both myself and the rest of the lads."
He added: "The buzz is back at QPR. We've won two on the bounce since the gaffer has come in and the future suddenly seems a lot brighter.
"Success breeds confidence and the atmosphere in the squad is fantastic. We are determined to put our poor start to the season behind us and Saturday's result (a 2-1 win at Southampton) speaks volumes for the amazing impact John has made since he came in."
