Ainsworth suffers further injury woe

QPR winger Gareth Ainsworth faces at least another three weeks on the sidelines with his troublesome foot injury.

The former Port Vale and Wimbledon star has had an X-ray on the injury that has shown some bone bruising which will take longer to heal than first expected.

Ainsworth sustained the injury in a reserve team game against Wycombe Wanderers earlier this month.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a successful season with the Nationwide Division Two side, scoring six goals in just 14 league starts but his last appearance came in the 1-0 win against Rushden & Diamonds on January 3.
