    Agyemang expecting better

    12 Dec 2008 - 15:00:06

Queens Park Rangers striker Patrick Agyemang is confident of getting back among the goals in the near future, having scored just once so far this season.

The 28-year-old frontman has struggled for both form and fitness this term, but feels that he is close to getting back to his best.

He told the Ealing Gazette: "I feel that the only thing that's missing for me at the moment is a goal.

"I've not played as many games as I wanted to because of injuries and then, when I've come in, I've been on the bench.

"But last Saturday was my second start in a row and I feel I'm getting my fitness level up. Hopefully the next thing is that the goals will come.

"I suppose there is always a little bit of anxiety for a striker until you get back among the goals. I want to get that goal, but I want to play well too.

"I think that once I get one goal, I'll get more."
