Daly earns Spiders a point

Michael Daly's second-half strike earned Queen's Park a 1-1 draw against Berwick Rangers.

The away side opened the scoring with a well-taken goal from midfielder Kevin McDonald, who fired in from just outside the area after cleverly working an opening.

Queen's Park pressed to find a fast response to the setback but their efforts were futile as Jimmy Crease's side carried their one-goal advantage into the half-time interval.

They did not have wait too long to restore parity, however, as 15 minutes into the second half they equalised when Daly cleverly converted Sean Burns' perfect left-wing cross.

Both sides searched for a winning goal but neither could find the opening they needed to seal victory.
