Watson set to return against Royals
The on-loan Wigan midfielder missed Saturday's 4-0 thrashing of Preston through suspension following his recent red card at Swansea.
Mikele Leigertwood could also be available having sat out at the weekend with a virus, leaving boss Jim Magilton with a selection dilemma as Gavin Mahon and Alejandro Faurlin impressed in midfield against North End.
Magilton does have a host of injury problems, however, with captain Martin Rowlands out for the season after suffering a cruciate injury playing for the Republic of Ireland.
Lee Cook, Alessandro Pellicori (both knee), Hogan Ephraim (ankle), Angelo Balanta (groin) and Matthew Connolly (glandular fever) are also in the Loftus Road treatment room.
