The former England Under-21 midfielder opted to join Rangers on loan after finding himself out of favour under Roberto Martinez at the DW Stadium. Rangers are reportedly keen to make the deal permanent when the transfer window reopens, and Watson will weigh up his options when his initial spell expires. "I'm here until January and it will be down to Wigan whether they want to call me back," he said. "If not, I'm more than willing to stay on until the end of the season."
