Warnock wants defenders

QPR manager Neil Warnock has made signing a couple of centre backs his top priority this summer. The former Sheffield United boss is determined to rebuild his squad and believes that having a solid defensive spine will help them succeed next term. "I would like to sort out one or two centre backs for next season if I am honest," he told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle. "In my own mind I know what I want to do. I am looking forward to the summer and getting my own team in place. "How many I get is a different matter to what I want as other clubs have to release or sell them. But I will be looking for a number of players to come into the squad." Meanwhile, midfielder Alejandro Faurlmn collected both the Players' Player of the Year award and the Supporters' Player of the Year accolade at the R's Player of the Year Event in London on Sunday evening.
