Warnock silent on QPR link

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock refused to quash speculation he is about to join Queens Park Rangers as the Eagles slid into the Coca-Cola Championship drop zone. A late winner from Coventry substitute David Bell plus Ipswich's win at fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday meant the Eagles, who were recently docked 10 points for going into administration, are now third from bottom. Warnock is expected to move to Rangers after Palace's FA Cup replay at Aston Villa on Wednesday night but he refused to confirm this would happen. He said: "I don't even want to mention it, I'm sorry. No comment - so you can make a story out of that. I won't be talking about that. I'm talking about my players. I've done nothing but talk about that." Asked if he would still be in charge for the Villa game he declared: "I'm bloody looking forward to it!"
