Warnock set to turn to youngsters

QPR will check on Adel Taarabt, Akos Buzsaky and Alejandro Faurlin ahead of the trip to Barnsley. Tottenham loanee Taarabt came off during the first half of Tuesday night's win over Watford with a heel injury and fellow midfielder Buzsaky also had to be replaced after taking a whack to the ribs late on. Argentinian playmaker Faurlin was struggling with a dead leg at the end, by which time Rangers had used all three of their substitutes. Boss Neil Warnock was pondering whether to give the club's youngsters a chance as both teams have little riding on the match and now he may have no other option as the casualty list grows. Defenders Damion Stewart (fractured skull) and Matt Connolly (ankle) and midfielders Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon (both knee) are all out for the season. Rookies Antonio German, Joe Oastler, Lee Brown and Josh Parker could therefore find themselves involved.
