Warnock puts brakes on Rowlands return

QPR boss Neil Warnock does not want to rush Martin Rowlands back from injury. Warnock admitted he did just that at the weekend when he risked putting Rowlands on the bench for the 2-0 win at Leicester. The former Rangers captain has been out for nearly a year with damaged cruciate ligaments and barely half-a-reserve game into his return, got the call for the Walkers Stadium game. "He was the last senior player available. All the others are injured and he could only have played a cameo 20 minutes - if that," Warnock told the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle. "But the other thought in my mind was to give him a psychological boost by bringing him with us. He deserved it after all his hard work in rehab."
