Warnock planning busy summer

QPR boss Neil Warnock is hoping to add at least five to seven new players to his squad in preparation for next season. The Rs finished in 13th place this season, but showed encouraging signs following the arrival of Warnock in March as the London club lost just four of his 14 games in charge. And Warnock is keen to push on by adding several new faces over the summer. He told the club's official website: "It's not a case of the board telling me: `You have this amount of money to spend'. That's not how it is going to work. I am going to be sensible - but I also plan to be constructive. "Every time a target becomes available who I believe we can get, I will speak with Ishan (Saksena) and Amit (Bhatia). Obviously financial aspects will come into it. "They are both very supportive. As long as I am not unrealistic, I believe I can get the people in that we need to take us where we want to go. The fans have got to trust me in the transfer window. We need a few players."
