Warnock looking at other options

QPR boss Neil Warnock has turned his attention to other transfer targets as uncertainty continues to surround his pursuit of Crystal Palace midfielder Darren Ambrose. Ambrose looked set to be joining QPR earlier this month in a £750,000 deal but the CPFC 2010 consortium came in to save the cash-strapped Eagles. New Palace boss George Burley remains hopeful of retaining the services of Ambrose, who hit 20 goals to ensure the club's survival last season, leaving Warnock to all-but concede defeat on any potential deal with his former employers. Warnock told the South London Press: "I'm looking at other players now - I can't just hang on forever. "Nothing has moved for two weeks - I've not heard anything. I think they want more money but anyone who wanted him would've bid when I offered - I won't be offering any more. "I think Darren's a bit gutted. I've got two or three other targets I'm trying to get in before the season starts - if I do that then I'll be happy."
