Warnock keen to keep Kyle

QPR manager Neil Warnock is optimistic about keeping hold of influential loanee Kyle Walker until the end of the season and plans to hold talks with Tottenham counterpart Harry Redknapp over the next week. Warnock, speaking after his side's 2-0 victory at Coventry, also revealed he does not plan to make many, if any, additions to his table-topping squad during the forthcoming transfer window. On-loan Spurs right-back Walker, 20, claimed the man-of-the-match champagne award after the victory and was afterwards also trying to claim his first professional goal despite his second-half strike going down as a Keiren Westwood own goal. And his quality has not gone unnoticed by Warnock who, as it stands, loses his services early in the new year after QPR's next two games. "I've spoken to Harry a number of times and they're very, very happy that he's playing games," he said. "He's not going to get in their team at the moment and the next best thing is to go somewhere he can learn his trade and come up against different wingers. "I believe, and Harry does the same, that he's better playing games, unless a Premier League club came in and offered millions. There's very much a chance (that we'll be able to keep him for the rest of the season). I'll be speaking to Harry again."
