Waddock: R's expect big things

Rangers finished a disappointing 11th in the Championship this term and co-owners Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone will be expecting an improvement. Waddock, who played for and bossed Rangers, is now making a success of managing Aldershot but still keeps a close eye on events at Loftus Road. "QPR is a team that I love, it played a big part in my life," he said. "There has been a remarkable turnaround recently under the new owners. Not so long ago it was all doom and gloom for the Rs with severe financial problems. "But what has happened now with the new investors means the sky's the limit. Only time will tell how far the club can go."
