QPR went down 2-0 to Crawley Town in their latest pre-season friendly. Crawley took the lead in the 15th minute through striker Matt Tubbs, who followed up to tap home a shot that had been parried by QPR goalkeeper Radek Cerny. The non-league side doubled their advantage in the 66th minute when Tubbs raced on to Marvin Kamara's throughball to slide the ball home from 12 yards. Meanwhile, Kaspars Gorkss and Heidar Helguson have been included in their respective national squads for forthcoming freindlies and will miss the Carling Cup tie against Port Vale on August 10. Gorkss has been called up for Latvia's clash against the Czech Republic in Liberec and Helguson will join up with Iceland's squad for their game against Liechtenstein.
