Taarabt makes Rangers switch

The 19-year-old Moroccan has been sent across London by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp to get some first-team games under his belt and goes straight into the Rangers squad for the Championship trip to St Mary's.[LNB]"Harry Redknapp told me Tottenham are not really in a position to give young players like me an opportunity right now, and he said QPR were keen on me," Taarabt told the club's website.[LNB]"He told me to come here and show what I can do. As soon as he told me about the move I was interested.[LNB]"Other Championship clubs came in for me as well but QPR is a team that plays football in the way I like to play. So that is why I wanted to come here."[LNB]Taarabt has made 15 appearances for Spurs, all from the bench, since joining from Lens in 2007.[LNB][LNB]
