The on-loan Moroccan's stunning free-kick against Derby at the weekend spurred a comeback from a two-goal deficit to win 4-2 - their third win in succession.
"It was a difficult match," he told the club's official website. "At 2-0 down we were staring defeat in the face but the free-kick just before half-time was crucial.
"The timing of it, just before the break, gave us a huge boost. Had that not gone in, it might have been a different game.
"We knew we had 45 minutes to win the game and we did it."
He added: "Every game in this division is tough but we're a very confident side and if we can keep this run going we'll be in the picture at the end of the season."
