Smith: Boss keeps us grounded

QPR striker Tommy Smith says no-one at Loftus Road is thinking about promotion yet - because manager Neil Warnock will not allow them to. Warnock is tantalisingly close to the seventh promotion of his career and a return to the Premier League for the first time since his Sheffield United side were relegated in 2007. Rangers are nine points clear at the top and need three more wins to be certain of bringing top-flight football back to the club after a 15-year absence. But Smith revealed: "We've got a guy in charge who has drilled it into us that until the job is done we are going to do things properly. "That's what we are trying to do."
