Simpson: Sky Blues win can kick-start season

Jay Simpson believes a positive result against Coventry could be the catalyst to turning QPR`s season around. Striker Simpson scored Rangers' opening goal when the teams drew 2-2 at Loftus Road in November and is keen to build on his strike in the midweek defeat to Ipswich. The Rs have lost their last four matches and are winless since their Boxing Day success over Bristol City, dropping to 17th in the table as a result. "If you look at the table things are very close. Back-to-back wins can shoot you right up the table," Simpson explained to the club's official website. "We've been working hard in training to put things right so that we won't concede such poor goals. We need to go to Coventry, pick up three points and be focused on the task ahead."
