Rs appeal against Hill dismissal

QPR boss Neil Warnock is to appeal against the red card shown to Clint Hill during their 4-0 Boxing Day win over Swansea. Hill was sent off for clashing with Swans defender Alan Tate, who also saw red, during the first half at Loftus Road. The full-back faces a three-match ban if the decision is upheld, but he will be available to face Coventry on Tuesday as the appeal will not be heard until Thursday. "I still don't understand the red card so we will be appealing against that - he's not lifted his hands or anything," said Warnock. "If Clint was going to get himself sent off it wouldn't be for something like that - it was astounding."
