Rowlands urged to head out on loan

QPR manager Neil Warnock has urged Martin Rowlands to go out on loan.

The midfielder is finally fit after a long-term knee injury, but although he has not managed to reclaim his place in the team at Loftus Road he is not keen on a switch elsewhere.

"I've spoken to Crystal Palace and a couple of other clubs have asked me over the last few months," Warnock told the Ealing Gazette.

"I've told Martin who they are, but at the minute he doesn't want to do anything.

"At the moment, he's not getting in the side. He needs first-team games and I can't see him getting in my team. He says he doesn't get anything out of friendlies.

"But that's down to Martin really, because I'm not forcing anybody to go."
