The 30-year-old is out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in January and is scheduled to see a surgeon for an update on his progress. "I'm hoping to start jogging in two to three weeks time after I've seen the surgeon which is a big step," said Rowlands. "Everything has gone well and hopefully I can be back for pre-season. I don't want to put a timescale on it and I want to be back for pre-season because it's a big time for everyone getting fit." Rowlands is one of a number of QPR players to have spent time on the sidelines this season but the Republic of Ireland international does not think it is worth spending time wondering about what might have been. "Every club gets injuries. You do think what if but you have to get on with it. We can't change that poor run of results, we just need to look to the future and get on with it," he added.
