Austin targets starting line-up

Charlie Austin could start for QPR when they host Nottingham Forest.

Rangers' 15-goal top scorer has made two substitute appearances since recovering from the shoulder injury which kept him out for three months and manager Harry Redknapp may unleash him from the start following back-to-back defeats.

Redknapp still has a host of injury worries with skipper Clint Hill (ankle), midfielder Joey Barton (thigh) and winger Armand Traore (leg) sidelined along with long-termers Matty Phillips, Andy Johnson (both ankle) and Ale Faurlin (knee).

But Nedum Onuoha (calf), Niko Kranjcar, Aaron Hughes and Jermaine Jenas (all hamstring) could return to the squad.

David Vaughan looks set to return to the Nottingham Forest squad.

Vaughan has been out of action since February with a dislocated knee cap, but caretaker-boss Gary Brazil expects to have him available.

Danny Collins is suspended following his red card in Tuesday's 3-3 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, while Radoslaw Majewski is not expected to overcome illness.

Andy Reid is very close to returning following hamstring trouble along with Eric Lichaj, who is battling a hernia.
