QPR V Norwich at Loftus Road Stadium : Match Preview

Warnock sets survival target Neil Warnock has highlighted the next 10 matches as vital to QPR's Premier League survival hopes. The Rs put up an impressive display against Arsenal but fell to a 1-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium. QPR now face a vital-looking match with fellow promoted side Norwich, which Warnock believes could be act as a catalyst in their push for survival. "I think the next 10 games are vital for us," he said. "We have a tough run in the last six weeks so I think the next eight, nine or 10 games will define our season really. "The quicker we can get players [to help with that] the better. "We're due a bit of luck against Norwich. They have had a lot the last few years with us so we are due a little bit. "I think it will be a decent game. We are playing well. "We need to put the chances away and I hope the lads that play on Monday give it a good shot. "We have a few knocks in there as you would expect and a few disappointments [after Arsenal], but that is what the Premier League is about. "It is a cruel league and you get punished when you think you have rode something. "It wasn't as if it was a goal they worked hard on. "It was a disappointment really but I thought the positiveness of the lads was fantastic. "Right from the whistle we looked like we wanted to get something out of the game in the right way. "That is what pleased me at a place like Arsenal. "They had a lot of the ball in their half but I think we had an equal share at times going forward. I thought we did out best." Fitz Hall will miss the Norwich match with a groin injury, although Paddy Kenny could recover from a muscle injury. Meanwhile, Paul Lambert is confident Norwich's hunger to stay in the Barclays Premier League will carry them on to bigger and better things in 2012. Canada striker Simeon Jackson came off the bench to head an equaliser deep into stoppage-time against Fulham at Carrow Road on Saturday, which kept the Canaries perched comfortably in mid-table. Lambert - who hopes to bring in some new players during the January transfer window - feels the displays over the first 19 games have given the Norfolk club a real fighting chance of extending their stay among the elite. "The lads have just carried on with what they did over the past two and a half years," said Lambert, who has overseen successive promotions since taking over at Carrow Road. "They have spirit, with an enthusiasm and hunger for the game. Their ability is great. "We are a young side, the average is about 23, and we are certainly making a fight of it, that is for sure. "Now we have to turn it all over and go again on Monday, so it is relentless." Lambert added: "Every match is hard - I have never seen an easy game. "I do not expect this one coming to be easy either, but we are doing really fine at the moment. "There is a long, long way to go, we are halfway through it, and we will do everything we can to stay in the league." City are expected to be without defenders Marc Tierney (groin) and Ritchie de Laet (back). Centre-forward James Vaughan is on course for a return from his knee problem in a few weeks, along with centre-back Elliott Ward (knee).M
