Ipswich striker Tamas Priskin believes QPR will be in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League come May.
Priskin made 13 appearances for Rangers during a loan spell last season as he struggled to make an impact at Portman Road but is back in Roy Keane's first team ahead of the meeting between the two on Tuesday night.
Priskin said: "It was a very good opportunity for me to go there and play football every week.
"I didn't play as many games as I wanted to at Ipswich during the first half of the season and I needed to get out and play and QPR gave me that chance.
"It was good for me there. QPR have a very good squad and bought more in the summer.
"Neil Warnock is a good manager so I think they will be up there challenging but this league is very open."
