Torquay have agreed a deal with on-loan QPR midfielder Joe Oastler to remain at Plainmoor next season. Oastler has made 18 starts and nine substitute appearances in total for the Gulls since arriving in October and is due to see his Rangers deal expire in the summer. Torquay boss Paul Buckle has revealed an agreement has been struck which will see the 20-year-old put pen to paper on a move to Devon at the end of the season. "We have agreed a deal in principle," Buckle told the Herald Express. "Joe wants to stay with us next year, and we'd like to have him." He added: "For the time being we won't be finalising any contract issues until the end of the season. We want to concentrate on Rotherham away on Saturday and staying in the play-offs."
