Niko Kranjcar left out from Croatia squad despite sparkling QPR performances

Niko Kovac, the manager of 'Vatreni', has decided to give a chance to three players for the next two qualifiers who haven't yet featured any national games. His namesake and ex-teammate Kranjcar has won QPR's player of the month award, but will not be helping Croatia in the next two Euro qualifiers.

A reason for such decision is unknown, but many Croatian fans would agree Kovac is inviting more and more players for Prva HNL (highest level of Croatian league system) so they would sell better. Well, they're not far away from the truth.

The previous member of Portsmouth and Tottenham is spending the second year in a row at Loftus Road, being loaned out by Ukrainian title contenders Dynamo Kiev. Having played full 90 minutes in every of the last four Premiership matches, Harry Redknapp must really be impressed by the 30-year-old who he had coached twice in the past.

Kranjcar was a scorer in a 2-2 draw against Stoke City with a goal which ensured them one of four points they've collected from seven league matches. So why did Kovac excluded him for matches with Bulgaria and Azerbaijan?

And he's not the only one to get left behind because of what might be the wrong decision by the manager. For example, there are more than 10 players in the Bundesliga who still wait on a call-up. Kovac needs to change his perspective in order of winning matches and not repeating bad performances like the ones from World Cup in Brazil.
