New QPR signing Petter Vaagen Moen has expressed his delight at joining the club. The 26-year-old Norway international sealed his switch to the R`s from SK Brann earlier this week, penning a two-and-a-half year deal before making his debut as a late substitute in Monday`s 2-2 home draw with Bristol City. Moen told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased to be here and be part of this great club. It's a great step forward for me in my career. "It has always been a dream of mine to play in England and I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead. It's a big opportunity for me to show what I can do, having played my entire career back in Norway." On his first appearance for QPR, he added: "It was a very special feeling to be involved. To get some minutes was pleasing and the reception I got from our audience was very kind." Elsewhere, R`s defender Matt Connolly will be suspended for Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie at Blackburn after his one-match ban for his sending off against Norwich on New Year's Day was increased by a further game due to his dismissal versus Portsmouth earlier in the season.
