Magilton nominated for September gong
Magilton's men went undefeated throughout the month, culminating in a well-deserved draw at Newcastle.
Prior to that they enjoyed victories over Cardiff and Barnsley and drew at home to Peterborough.
The other candidates are Newcastle's Chris Hughton, Roberto Di Matteo of West Brom and Blackpool boss Ian Holloway.
The winner will be announced on Sky's Soccer Saturday programme.
