Magilton issues Hoops challenge
Magilton was already coming under pressure after their first four Championship games yielded just three points, but they finally broke their win duck courtesy of Adel Taarabt's early goal against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
"We know we can get better and we will do," said Magilton.
"We have played well this season and haven't picked up the points some of our performances deserved.
"But we've got a win and now we can hit the ground running in September."
