Mackie to miss rest of the season

QPR forward Jamie Mackie will not require surgery but has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking his leg against Blackburn.The 25-year-old fractured both his tibia and fibula and is expected to be in a cast for up to 12 weeks. [LNB]R's boss Neil Warnock accused Blackburn striker El-Hadji Diouf of verbally abusing Mackie as he lay on the ground injured during Saturday's game. [LNB]QPR lost the FA Cup third round tie at Ewood Park 1-0. [LNB]Scotland international Mackie suffered the double fracture in a collision with Rovers defender Gael Givet, who was also carried off. [LNB]The Football Association is reviewing the incident involving Diouf.
