Mackie plans Premier League comeback

QPR striker Jamie Mackie is on course to be fit for the start of next season. The Scotland international is on the mend following the double leg-break he suffered against Blackburn in the FA Cup in January. And with Rangers flying high at the top of the Championship, Mackie is hoping his next appearance in a Hoops shirt will be in the Premier League. "They try not to give me targets, but they reckon in pre-season I'll be as fit as anyone else and raring to go," he told the club's official website. "And I'd love to be a Premier League player."
