"We didn't deserve that," said Laws. "We did enough to win, but football can be cruel at times.[LNB]"We scored a great goal and after that I thought we were in control of the game. We feel like we've had our pockets pinched.[LNB]"It wasn't even a corner, but the referee was so inconsistent with his decisions. Corners and free-kicks were given when they shouldn't have been."[LNB]Laws had little sympathy for transfer-seeking defender Richard Wood, who was booed when he came on as a substitute.[LNB]He said: "The crowd reaction tells you they're disappointed with him and he's got to take it."[LNB]QPR boss Jim Magilton was delighted with the manner of his side's win after they held off a determined fightback from the hosts.[LNB]"It was a real test of grit and determination so it's a nice win for us," said Magilton. "We knew we were going to be under the cosh.[LNB]"I thought Sheffield Wednesday really pressed and they deservedly got back on track. We were under an awful lot of pressure.[LNB]"We've been praised for playing expansive football this season so it was good to see us have to dig in and battle. We're still very much a work in progress."[LNB]Magilton praised Jay Simpson and Adel Taarabt, who are on-loan from Arsenal and Tottenham respectively, saying: "They both played outstandingly well."[LNB]Simpson gave the visitors a 10th-minute lead, firing beyond keeper Lee Grant after latching onto a great through ball from Taarabt.[LNB]Wayne Routledge had a great chance to add a second just a couple of minutes later - following another lay-off from Taarabt - but his shot came back off Grant's right-hand post.[LNB]Jermaine Johnson struck a 13th-minute equaliser after being sent clear by Darren Potter, his effort going in off Radek Cerny's left-hand post.[LNB]Cerny came to his side's rescue shortly afterwards, turning Luke Varney's shot onto the woodwork after the striker found himself through on goal.[LNB]QPR's Ben Watson tried a shot on the run which was beaten away by Grant.[LNB]Routledge was through on goal just before the break following another great ball from Taarabt, but his effort was saved by Grant.[LNB]Johnson had an angled shot saved and Potter putting a free-kick just off-target.[LNB]Tommy Miller then struck Cerny's right-hand post with a 20-yard effort.[LNB]Rangers had chances to score with Simpson and Alejandro Faurlin testing Grant.[LNB]Taarabt also fired into the side-netting and Watson saw his near-post shot go beyond the far post.[LNB]After Owls substitute Leon Clarke had a shot turned wide, Kaspars Gorkss (82) snatched the winner for Rangers, meeting Faurlin's corner with a firm near-post header.[LNB][LNB]
