Alan Knill enjoyed a dream home managerial debut as Scunthorpe breathed new life into their fight against relegation with a thumping shock 4-1 victory over runaway leaders QPR. Neil Warnock`s men opened the scoring through Rob Hulse but on-loan Nottingham Forest striker Joe Garner equalised in the 28th minute and then put the Iron ahead three minutes after the break. Midfielder Michael O`Connor crashed home a superb third in the 58th minute and Mark Duffy added a late fourth as Knill`s men bounced back in style from last week`s 6-0 thumping at Norwich and climbed off the foot of the table.
