QPR manager Mark Hughes will look into a foul-mouthed tweet allegedly posted by Federico Macheda after his side's Barclays Premier League draw with Everton.
The on-loan Manchester United striker has been left out of the side recently and was not included in the 18-man squad that drew 1-1 with Everton at Loftus Road.
Macheda, who was charged earlier this week for a previous comment made on the social network website, tweeted after the match: "Totally p****d off...this is not what i deserve! **** all!!!!!"
When told of the post, Hughes said: "What is he talking about? Perhaps he has broken a watch or dropped his phone. Who knows what he has done. You're assuming it is about the game and not being involved. Until I speak to him I can't really comment, can I?"
Asked what action would be taken if it is about team selection, the Welshman retorted: "Well, when I know it is I will come back and talk about it, but I can't talk about it because that is the first I've heard about it."
He added: "Why we are talking about a player who was not in the squad? I would rather talk about the guys who worked their b******s off today, to be perfectly honest, rather than somebody that wasn't even in the squad, don't you think?"
The tweet was subsequently deleted and Hughes was keen to focus attention on QPR's battling draw at Loftus Road. The Hoops have now won just two of their 14 Barclays Premier League matches at Loftus Road and they had to come from behind on Saturday after Royston Drenthe broke the deadlock from long range.
Bobby Zamora bundled home a Akos Buzsaky free-kick five minutes later to earn a point and Hughes thinks the performance bodes well for the run-in.
"I think we made it tough for them," he said. "We didn't allow them to play. I thought in terms of which team affected the game most, I think it was certainly the way we played. We were excellent in terms of closing people down and obviously trying to effect the game in a positive manner going the other way.
"It is obviously a difficult game against Everton and you know you're going to come under pressure in terms of their set play work. But apart from a few balls into the box and a couple of errors in poor areas, that was the only threat really."
