QPR defender Clint Hill is relieved he will be available to face Norwich on New Year`s Day after his ban was overturned. Hill was dismissed by referee Phillip Crossley following an alleged altercation with Swansea defender Alan Tate in the Boxing Day clash at Loftus Road. But at a meeting with the Football Association`s Regulatory Commission, the R`s appeal against the decision was upheld. "In my mind it was never a red card in the first place," Hill told the club`s official website. "I`m thankful the powers that be have looked at it and agreed. "It was a massive relief we went on to win the game - maybe I did the lads a favour by going off! In all seriousness, I was wrong to get involved [with Tate] but the lads produced a great performance to win the game in style. "We`re in good form and we`ll go [to Norwich] and enjoy the occasion and atmosphere at what is a great place to play."
