Helguson was due to face Georgia on Wednesday night but withdrew after complaining of tendinitis in his knee and will be assessed ahead of Saturday's visit of Peterborough. Fellow frontman Angelo Balanta will miss out after suffering a groin injury in training on Tuesday. "It's a grade one groin tear. It's not serious but he'll be sidelined for a while," said physio Paul Hunter. Meanwhile, Rangers fans have launched a campaign to bring former chief scout Mel Johnson back to the club. Johnson, who discovered the likes of Lee Cook, Martin Rowlands and Dan Shittu, is currently on gardening leave from Tottenham.
