Harford: Errors proving costly

07 February 2010 11:51
QPR boss Mick Harford has called on his side to cut out their mistakes following the 1-0 defeat at Peterborough. Aaron Mclean scored the only goal of the game after just nine minutes, while captain Mikele Leigertwood and defender Peter Ramage were dismissed for the Rs. "At the moment we seem to be getting punished for our mistakes," Harford told the club's official website. "We made one mistake in the first half and got punished for it. "I said to the players at half-time that we need to step up and create a few more chances. We needed to move the ball a little bit quicker." On debutants Marcus Bent and Tamas Priskin, Harford added: "Marcus and Tamas did quite well and they linked-up well at times. "I also thought Lee Cook put some excellent deliveries into the box and maybe on another day we'd have had someone on the end of them."
