Gorman plays down Briatore factor

Magilton this summer became the fifth permanent manager to be named by Flavio Briatore in less then two years. Briatore's reign as chairman has been controversial, with reports suggesting his influence at times stretches to selecting the team, but assistant boss Gorman is not fazed by the Italian's reputation. "Jim and I knew what we were taking on when we took the job," said Gorman. "We feel we are strong enough to handle it and have a good relationship with the people above us."
