Gorman: Grecians are no pushover

Gorman, who on Monday was named number two to new Rangers manager Jim Magilton, will come face-to-face with his old Tottenham pal and City director of football Steve Perryman when the sides meet in early August. "It's a tricky tie but one we are more than capable of winning," said Gorman. "We'll need to be totally committed and professional to get the job done, and we'll be drumming that into the players from day one of pre-season training. "Steve is a close friend of mine, so it's a nice draw in that respect. "It's been a while since I've been to St James Park, but it's a difficult place to go at any time."
