Good news for Hill

QPR defender Clint Hill does not require surgery on his troublesome ankle. Hill missed last weekend's win at Watford with the injury, after which boss Neil Warnock revealed he would probably need an operation. But physio Nigel Cox says the current problem in fact only stems from Hill jarring his ankle recently and he could even be fit for Saturday's final-day clash with Leeds. "He's been a little bit unlucky and jarred the joint - he can't actually remember doing it," Cox told Rangers' official website. "(The surgeon) is quite happy it will settle down. He doesn't want to delve in and do any surgical work at this moment in time."
