QPR striker Dexter Blackstock and Tottenham full-back Chris Gunter both played key roles in helping Forest secure their Championship status this season and the Scot is keen to have them back the club next time around. "If I had the option of taking Gunter permanently I would do so," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "But if his club say no, I would be delighted to take him on a season-long loan. "He epitomises the type of player we want to bring in. We have to approach Spurs and see if it is a possibility. "We have touched base with QPR with regard to Dexter. We are trying to find out about fees and such like. The conversation has begun."
