Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is set to stay between the posts as Chris Weale continues his recovery from a shoulder injury. Striker Steve Howard was recalled in place on Matty Fryatt against the Bluebirds in the only change to the side that drew 1-1 at Coventry last weekend. Japanese World Cup star Yuki Abe came off the bench to make his debut against Cardiff after he finally received a work visa.

Sousa is demanding further improvement from his side, saying: "So far, so good, but I think we can improve much more."

QPR will check on midfielder Alejandro Faurlin ahead of the trip to Leicester. The Argentinian was substituted as a precaution with a tight groin during Tuesday night's 3-0 win at Ipswich.

Full-back Bradley Orr missed out at Portman Road with a calf injury and is not expected to return, although he could be available to face Doncaster next week. Fellow defender Peter Ramage is facing a long spell on the sidelines with a cruciate injury so Tottenham loanee Kyle Walker keeps his place at right-back.

Fitz Hall has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury and with Rangers having kept three clean sheets in his absence, the centre-half need not be rushed back.

Club captain Martin Rowlands is building up his fitness after 11 months out with cruciate damage and fellow midfielder Lee Cook is still missing with knee trouble.
