The Argentinian midfielder, a £3.5million recruit from Instituto, is struggling with a thigh injury and will have to wait to make his competitive debut. There is better news on Akos Buzsaky, who has recovered from a thigh problem and is in contention to face the Tangerines. Former Plymouth midfielder Buzsaky missed much of last season due to a serious knee injury and his return will be a major plus for new boss Jim Magilton. Fellow midfielder Mikele Leigertwood has also returned to training after recovering from a thigh injury and will be in contention to face Blackpool. And there is also positive news on Matt Connolly (calf) who has also returned to training ahead of the season opener.
