Cook out to show "what I can do"

QPR midfielder Lee Cook is determined to force his way into manager Neil Warnock's plans next season despite reported interest from Millwall. Cook is a keen admirer of Lions boss Kenny Jackett and, although he has refused to rule out the possibility of linking up with the Lions, the 27-year-old would ideally like to remain at Loftus Road. "I know that when I am playing at my best that Neil Warnock has got to pick me - I won't give him the choice," he told the Ealing Gazette. "So it is all about pre-season and showing him what I can do. "I have not been at my best for the last two seasons but my aim for this campaign is to get 40 games and prove to everybody I am back." On the reported interest from Millwall, he added: "I spoke to my agent two weeks ago and he didn't know of anything in the way of interest but I have always admired Kenny Jackett. He was my first coach when I came to QPR and I like what he does. "Millwall have shown that they could be a force to be reckoned with next season but I want to give it everything I've got at Rangers and see what happens."
