Cook open to loan spell

QPR winger Lee Cook admits he is willing to go out on loan in an attempt to break into Neil Warnock's starting line-up. The 28-year-old has struggled with knee problems during the past 18 months and has made just the one competitive appearance for The Hoops this season, as a late substitute against Blackburn in the FA Cup, and insists he will do whatever he can to be a part of the club's promotion push. "If the gaffer comes to me and says `I want you to go somewhere for a month and play four or five games' then I will do," he told the Kilburn Times. "It's up to me to try and break into the team. I've got to take my chance in the 20 minutes or so I'm going to get in games and show the gaffer that I warrant a start. "But if he wants me to go for a month I haven't got a problem with that. As long as I stay injury-free this year and the club go up, happy days. "It's been a while since I've had the whole matchday experience and just getting 10 or 15 minutes was great for me. Hopefully I can be involved on the bench again at Burnley."
