Cook looking ahead for Rangers

Injury-hit QPR winger Lee Cook has vowed to get back to his best next season. The 27-year-old is finally over the knee problems which have plagued him for two years and is looking to get a run in the side under Neil Warnock over the Championship run-in. "I played four or five games and felt really good, then unfortunately for me I picked up the flu and missed training, which was bad timing with the new boss coming in," he told the Kilburn Times. "Obviously the lads got a couple of results, so I had to be kind of patient and I'm only just getting into the swing of it again. "Now I want to get a few more appearances under my belt before the end of the season, continue my work throughout the summer and I'll come back strong as ever."
