Akos Buzsaky believes QPR are more than capable of challenging for promotion next season despite a disappointing 13th-placed finish this term.
The Rs, who suffered a 1-0 defeat by Newcastle on the final day of the season, have had to cope with several managerial changes this season but showed signs of improvement following the arrival of Neil Warnock back in March.
Buzsaky told the Kilburn Times: "I have another two years on my contract and I just want to relax and play. It's all about next season now - we have to go home and rest and then have a great pre-season.
"I know we say this every single year but this time I believe that Neil has a good plan. He is always successful with his teams and he organises well.
"If he can bring the right players in I'm sure we will push for promotion next season. But we've said this so many times - next season, next season - now we have to do it."
