Boss hails resolute Rangers

Neil Warnock paid tribute to his defenders after they managed a rare clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Plymouth. Adel Taarabt and Damion Stewart were on target as Rangers made it two wins out of two following Saturday's victory against West Brom in Warnock's first game in charge. But equally important was a first shut-out since October - some 25 games and five managers ago. "It was a different game from Saturday, with all the razzmatazz of my first game," said Warnock. "My centre-halves and goalkeeper were magnificent but you have to defend from the front and I thought we did that. "We'd gone 25 games without a clean sheet - that must be right because the centre-halves told me!"
