Bircham backs Hoops to get it right
Rangers finished a disappointing 11th this term with Iain Dowie, Paolo Sousa and Gareth Ainsworth all trying their hand in the manager's hot-seat.
Chairman Flavio Briatore will be expecting his side to challenge for a place in the Premier League next term and former R's star Bircham insists they are not far away.
"Hopefully if we get the right manager in place and add one or two key players, we'll be there or thereabouts," said the ex-Hoops midfielder.
"A few tweaks here or there and we'll be up there, I've got no doubts about that."
